5 Days Arusha NP, Tarangire and Ngorongoro Adventure

Itinerary

• Day 1 Arrival

  Upon your arrival at Kilimanjaro Airport, our friendly and experienced driver and guide will welcome you and escort you to your accommodation. You'll be briefed about the tour at the hotel. Enjoy a delightful dinner and an overnight stay at the Rest House.

• Day 2 Arusha National Park Exploration

  After breakfast, depart for Arusha National Park, one of Tanzania's most scenic parks located at the foot of Mount Meru. Enjoy a full-day game drive through diverse habitats including montane forests, open grasslands, crater lakes, and swamps. The park is famous for its populations of giraffes, buffaloes, zebras, warthogs, colobus monkeys, and numerous bird species. A guided walking safari with an armed ranger can also be arranged, offering a unique opportunity to experience wildlife on foot.

• Day 3 Arusha – Tarangire National Park

  After breakfast, depart for Tarangire National Park, renowned for its ancient baobab trees and large concentrations of elephants. Enjoy a full-day game drive exploring the Tarangire River ecosystem, a vital water source that attracts a remarkable variety of wildlife throughout the year. Look out for elephants, lions, leopards, giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, impalas, and over 500 species of birds.

• Day 4Ngorongoro Crater

  Following an early breakfast, drive to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area and descend approximately 600 meters into the Ngorongoro Crater. Often referred to as Africa's "Garden of Eden," the crater hosts an incredible concentration of wildlife within its natural boundaries. Enjoy a game drive across the crater floor in search of the Big Five, including the rare black rhino. A picnic lunch will be served at the hippo pool before continuing your exploration.

• Day 5Cultural Experience & Return to Arusha for Departure

  After breakfast, enjoy a visit to a local Maasai village or Mto wa Mbu cultural tourism program, where you'll gain insight into Tanzania's rich cultural heritage, traditions, and daily life. Later, drive back to Arusha with lunch en route. Upon arrival, transfer to the airport for your onward flight or to your preferred hotel.
