Itinerary

• Day 1 Arrive in Arusha Tanzania

  Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by your professional safari guide from Baobab (Olmesera) Adventures and transferred to your lodge in Arusha. Relax and recover from your international flight while enjoying views of Mount Meru and the peaceful surroundings of your lodge.

• Day 2-3Northern Serengeti

  After breakfast, transfer to the airstrip for a short scenic flight to the Northern Serengeti National Park, offering breathtaking aerial views of Tanzania’s vast savannahs, rolling hills, and wildlife-rich plains. Upon arrival, begin your game drive in one of the most spectacular wildlife areas in Africa. The Northern Serengeti is renowned for its abundant resident wildlife, including elephants, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, buffalo, and predators such as lions, leopards, and cheetahs. If traveling during the migration season, you may witness the dramatic Great Migration as thousands of wildebeest and zebras cross the Mara River.
  
  Dinner and overnight at lodge or tented camp.

• Day 4-7 Serengeti National Park

  Spend four unforgettable days exploring the world-famous Serengeti, a UNESCO World Heritage Site whose name comes from the Maasai word Siringet, meaning “endless plains.” This vast ecosystem is characterized by sweeping golden grasslands, scattered umbrella-shaped acacia trees, rocky kopjes, and winding seasonal rivers that support one of the richest concentrations of wildlife on Earth.
  
  Each day offers extensive game drives across diverse habitats, from open savannahs to acacia woodlands, where you may encounter large prides of lions resting beneath the trees, leopards draped over branches, cheetahs scanning the plains, and hyenas on the move. Herds of elephants, giraffes, zebras, buffalo, gazelles, and countless bird species are commonly seen throughout the park.

• Day 8-9 Ngorongoro Crater & Highlands

  After breakfast, transfer to the airstrip for a short scenic flight to the Ngorongoro area, enjoying spectacular aerial views of the Serengeti plains, volcanic landscapes, and the lush highlands of northern Tanzania.
  
  Upon arrival, descend into the magnificent Ngorongoro Crater, a self-sustaining ecosystem and UNESCO World Heritage Site renowned for having one of the highest concentrations of wildlife and the densest predator population in Africa. This natural caldera offers one of the best opportunities to spot the Big Five, including lion, elephant, buffalo, leopard, and the endangered black rhino.
  
  Beyond the crater, explore the verdant hills of the Ngorongoro Highlands and unwind in the peaceful surroundings, consistently recognized as one of Africa’s most iconic safari lodges.
• Day 10 Return to Arusha for Departure

  After breakfast, return to Arusha for airport transfer or onward arrangements.
